Condition does not matter
Cracked screen, dead battery, bent frame: T-Mobile takes eligible trade-ins in any condition, so a beaten-up phone still counts for full credit.

Which phones are eligible
iPhone 15 Pro and newer, plus the 16 line, 16e, Air and the 17s. On Samsung, the Galaxy S24+ and up, S25 range, S26 range, and Fold and Flip 5 through 7.
The fine print costs money
You still owe sales tax on the device and a $35 connection charge, and the $1,200 drips back over 36 months of billing. Launch day is Sept. 18.
