Paraguay Senate Passes Deposit Law

Paraguay's Senate approved a deposit guarantee law allowing customers of Ueno Bank to receive up to 121 million guaranis within 24 hours.

Ueno Bank Taken Over

The Central Bank took over Ueno Bank after its solvency ratio fell to 5.56% against a minimum of 12%.

Payment Terms for Depositors

Customers with loans will have only overdue instalments deducted, not their entire debt.
