There's absolutely no guarantee either player will be ready for the Week 7 game against the New York Jets.

Caleb Douglas Availability

Douglas was non-committal about his availability after practice Wednesday, and head coach Jeff Hafley made no promises beforehand.

Coach Hafley's Statement

Hafley said Douglas was a big bright spot early on but got injured, with limited practice time before potential return.

“He was a big bright spot early on, everybody was excited about him from training camp to preseason and the first couple games that he played. We were counting on him and then unfortunately he got injured. Monday he was out there, limited. Today he'll be out there and getting acclimated again.”

Kyle Louis Status

Louis has been out since sustaining a knee injury in the opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Robert Beal Jr. Back

Edge defender Robert Beal Jr. missed past three games due to hamstring injury but returned to practice Wednesday.

Other Limited Participants

Long-snapper Tucker Addington (shoulder), tight end Will Kacmarek (hamstring), and running back Jaylen Wright (foot) also listed as limited participants.

Week 7 Game Impact

Having Douglas and Louis back will help when they return but may not happen this week with low expectations.
