Hamilton admits wrong call

Hamilton admitted he made the wrong run plan choice for Singapore GP SQ3 after Ferrari struggled with oversteering issues.
“It was looking good in Q1 and Q2, and then… I don’t really know where it went away”
Ferrari's qualifying strategy

Ferrari took a 1-2 in the second phase of qualifying with Charles Leclerc on top and Hamilton three tenths adrift.
“Honestly, it shouldn't be an excuse”
Hamilton's lap issues
Hamilton described his lap as 'very, very snappy, oversteery' with no rear grip on the final run.
“I don't know if the rears were not ready or if they were overheating, it was difficult to say”
Leclerc's performance
Leclerc finished third in SQ3, three tenths quicker than Hamilton, but acknowledged Ferrari's pace deficit.
“I think the raw pace, since three or four races, we've lost a little bit of our raw performance”
Next steps for Ferrari

Leclerc said Ferrari needs fine-tuning to compete for pole position in tomorrow's sprint race.
“For tomorrow, maybe with some fine-tuning, we can be there or thereabouts for fighting for pole”
