Sauce Gardner's London game

Sauce Gardner called his performance in London game 'definitely embarrassing to watch' after being beaten on deep passes.

“definitely embarrassing to watch”

Gardner's performance issues

Gardner got beaten on two deep balls and his substandard effort chasing down Antonio Williams on a touchdown was called back due to penalty.

Gardner's statement

Gardner said his effort was not there on multiple plays and that it would not happen again as he does not stand for that type of performance.

“That’s not what I stand for. That’s not the type of person I am. That’s not the type of player I am. That’ll never happen again.”

Gardner's future

Gardner said he has no answer for why his effort was lacking against the Commanders but will not repeat the mistake.

Colts' situation

The Colts won in London but Gardner's performance cost the team given the price paid to get him.
