Influencer accused of rape

Braden Peters, twenty, known online as Clavicular, faces rape charges after a seventeen-year-old girl accused him of assault.

Three charges filed in Massachusetts

Peters faces rape, drugging for sexual intercourse, and providing liquor to a minor. Charges were filed in Orleans District Court on Cape Cod on September eighth.

How they met online

The girl began communicating with Peters on Instagram, where he paid her to appear on his livestreams to help her gain social media followers.

What happened at his home

On May twenty-third, twenty twenty-five, Peters allegedly told the minor to claim she was eighteen on camera and that vodka was water. She felt pressured to drink and became noticeably intoxicated.

Assault allegations

After stopping the livestream, Peters and the girl kissed on a couch, then had sex in his bed without her consent, according to court documents.

Prior legal troubles

In March, Peters was arrested after instigating a fight between two women at an Airbnb and posting footage online. In April, he was charged with unlawfully firing a gun at a dead alligator in the Florida Everglades.

Peters denies allegations, arraignment set

Peters' representative says he denies all charges. Peters posted on social media calling the lawsuit petty. His arraignment is scheduled for October fourteenth.
