Choosing a putter has always been part science, part gut feel, and part guesswork.
Data-led testing process
We tested 35 putters across nine categories: looks, adjustability, feel, technology, stability, sound, value, forgiveness, and consistency.
Structured testing method
Each putter faced 15 putts per tester across short, mid, and long range for over 2,500 putts total.
Consistent testing conditions
All putts were struck on the same practice green at Alwoodley Golf Club using a TaylorMade TP5 ball.
