Eagles Trade Cam Jurgens

Philadelphia Eagles traded veteran interior offensive lineman Cam Jurgens to Baltimore Ravens for 2027 fifth round pick and 2028 second round pick.

Offensive Line Issues

Eagles face offensive line problems with Landon Dickerson injured and Lane Johnson retired, leaving only two starting offensive linemen for Week 1.

Schefter's Explanation

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter says Eagles sold Jurgens to prepare for 2028 draft, not to punt on 2026 season.

“Definitely not white flag in Philadelphia. In this particular case, they're selling for a reason. They inserted Drew Kendall at center and like him an awful lot. Cam Jurgens at guard, he doesn't fit well there. They were offered a second-round draft pick for an interior offensive lineman. ... Philadelphia is now armed up for the 2028 NFL Draft.”
