Jacobs was placed on the commissioner's exempt list Aug. 30, three days after he was formally charged with two misdemeanors stemming from an alleged incident with his ex-girlfriend in May.
NFL investigation ongoing
The NFL is still investigating the case. The league has reportedly been trying to get ahold of videotape of the incident to no avail.
Potential four-to-six-game suspension
So, the NFL's investigation is ongoing, but there could be a suspension sooner rather than later. Jacobs remains on the commissioner exempt list.

Suspension range reported
A four-to-six-game suspension could be the range based on a few people I've talked to in the league, but that's obviously fluid and based on the league's findings.
