Omos wants to flatten Rey Mysterio
A seven-foot WWE giant got himself suspended from AAA, and now he has to beat the boss to get back in.
In brief
A seven-foot WWE giant got himself suspended from AAA, and now he has to beat the boss to get back in. Omos has turned a two-year WWE absence into a run through Japan and Mexico, and Triplemania 34 is where he cashes it in. Originally reported by OutKick.
Two years, no WWE ring

Omos is one of the biggest men on the WWE roster, but he has not wrestled there in two years. He took his size elsewhere instead.
Japan came first

A short run at Pro Wrestling Noah gave him a taste of a wrestling culture he could not even speak the language of. He calls it phenomenal.
“speak little-to-no Japanese but being able to immerse myself in that wrestling culture”
Mexico took notice
He debuted at AAA's Triplemania 33 last year and won the Bardahl Cup, which planted him as a real threat on the AAA roster.
Suspended for the boss

Omos erupted at Rey Mysterio, who runs AAA as general manager, and got suspended. He came back as a paying spectator and got involved anyway.
Friday is the price

Night 1 of Triplemania 34 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas is his shot to earn the roster spot back.
“I am excited to hand out the greatest a, whooping of this lifetime to Rey Mysterio.”
The legend means nothing
Mysterio is arguably the greatest Luchador ever. Asked if that changes anything, Omos said he does not give a damn, not even slightly.
“No, I don't give a damn. It doesn't matter, no.”
The short version
Omos has turned a two-year WWE absence into a run through Japan and Mexico, and Triplemania 34 is where he cashes it in.
