Mod Runs Nvidia's DLSS 5 on AMD Cards
A mod lets AMD Radeon GPUs run Nvidia's DLSS 5 tech for better gaming frames.
In brief
A mod lets AMD Radeon GPUs run Nvidia's DLSS 5 tech for better gaming frames. Daniel Blanco created a mod that runs Nvidia's DLSS 5 on AMD Radeon GPUs, improving frame rates to 90-100 FPS at 1080p. Originally reported by PCMAG.
DLSS 5 Exclusive Tech
Officially, DLSS 5 and its photorealistic effects are supposed to be exclusive to Nvidia's graphics cards.
Daniel Blanco's Mod
Daniel Blanco created a mod that can run the leaked 158MB DLSS 5 file on AMD Radeon RX 9000, 7000, and 6000 GPUs.
Performance Impact

DLSS 5 seriously drags down frame rates but Blanco has refined it to run at 90 to 100 frames per second on AMD RX 9070 XT.
Output Quality
Output quality is very similar to what DLSS produces on original hardware, though some effects may not work 100%.
User Testing
Users sharing screenshots on Discord show DLSS 5 runs well on AMD GPUs, though Georgetech found it better on Nvidia RTX 5060 Ti.
Future Support
Nvidia plans to expand DLSS 5 support to RTX 4000 GPUs while AMD has no equivalent tech.
The main idea
Daniel Blanco created a mod that runs Nvidia's DLSS 5 on AMD Radeon GPUs, improving frame rates to 90-100 FPS at 1080p.
