The wrong way round

Blizzard classics still aren't on Steam, so no easy Steam Deck play. What we get instead is Cyberpunk 2077 arriving on Battle.net.
“Wouldn't it be nice if more of Blizzard's classic games were available on Steam?”
Announced at BlizzCon

Blizzard and CD Projekt confirmed Cyberpunk 2077 and its expansion land on Battle.net later this year. It follows the Witcher 3 remaster news from GamesCom.
The launcher nobody browses

Cyberpunk joins a shelf of third-party games most people forget are on Battle.net, like Sea of Thieves, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, and The Outer Worlds 2.
Blizzard's own Steam problem

Only Diablo 2 Resurrected, Diablo 4, and Overwatch are on Steam. The original Diablo sits on GOG, and the first two Warcraft games were pulled after their remasters.
Geralt joins the barbarians

A Geralt skin for Diablo 4's barbarian goes to anyone who prepurchases the Witcher 3 DLC Songs of the Past on Battle.net. More Witcher content is promised for 2027.
“more "Witcher-themed content" threatened for 2027”
Edgerunners hits Overwatch

Next year brings Edgerunners cosmetics to Overwatch, timed to the show's second season. Netflix premieres it on October 20.
