Top secret Emmys mission

The SVU cast was told to shoot a Sunday skit for the Emmys but had no idea Taylor Swift would be there. Producers kept it confidential to avoid leaks.

“I had no idea what it was. And then when we got there, Taylor Swift was there.”

Swift brought homemade cookies

After filming, Swift gave the cast homemade cookies. Ice-T said he's unsure whether to eat them or keep them as a memento.

“I got some cookies. I didn't eat them yet. They're in my dressing room.”

A focused professional

Ice-T praised Swift's professionalism, saying she handled the shoot like a champ and connected with him on a musician level.

“She's a very focused and professional person. Like anything she's going to do, she's going to do it to the fullest.”

The skit poked fun at Swift

Swift appeared with her cat Olivia Benson, named after Hargitay's character. She joked about being home playing with cats named after TV characters.

“She's probably going to be at home playing with those cats she's named after TV characters.”

She went to the game instead

The skit predicted Swift would skip the Emmys for Monday Night Football. She did attend the Chiefs' 31-10 win, sitting with Tom Cruise.

A friendship years in the making

Swift and Hargitay met at the Met Gala and bonded after Swift gave her a ride home from a concert. Hargitay attended Swift's July wedding to Kelce.

Welcome back anytime

Ice-T said Swift would absolutely be welcomed back to the SVU set. The singer is a loyal watcher who previously cast Hargitay in her Bad Blood video.
