Thor Explorations Ltd supports agricultural enterprise with 10 process plants in Segilola host communities.
10 process plants deployed
Thor provides 10 mini cassava and oil palm processing plants across three host communities.
Communities served
Imogbara, Odo-Ijesha and Iperindo host communities receive processing plants.
Plant allocation
Iperindo gets two oil palm plants and two cassava plants; others get two oil palm and one cassava plant.
Equipment subsidy
Thor offers 50 percent equipment subsidy with hire purchase agreement for better access.
Cassava processing plants
Each cassava plant has grater, manual presser with 32-tonne jack and fryer for garri production.
Oil palm processing plants
Each oil palm plant includes vertical palm fruit debuncher and diesel-powered automatic presser.
Processing capacity
Debunchers process 800-1,000 kilograms per hour; pressers improve efficiency for oil palm.
Cassava processing capacity
Graters process 500 kilograms of cassava per hour; pressers remove excess water.
Economic impact
Project supports transportation, trading and distribution across host communities.
