Amazon launches AI hiring tool

Amazon Connect Talent is now available to help companies speed up hiring from job description to final decision. The AI-powered system can complete in days what traditionally takes weeks.

How the AI agent works

The system analyzes job requirements, creates an interview plan, invites candidates to interview on their schedule, conducts voice interviews, and delivers a summary brief to the recruiter with full transcripts and reasoning.

Recruiters keep final say

Recruiters review AI-generated scores alongside full transcripts and notes, seeing the agent's reasoning before making the hiring decision. This keeps humans in charge while automating grunt work.

Part of broader AI suite

Amazon Connect Talent is one of four specialized AI solutions AWS launched in April. Others handle supply logistics, customer conversations, and healthcare administration tasks.

Amazon sees big opportunity

CEO Andy Jassy said in July that Amazon sees a substantial opportunity in agentic AI applications. The company's contact center platform is already used by major airlines, banks and healthcare companies.
