Perk takes its spend tool to America
TravelPerk, now just Perk, is betting US finance teams want travel and spend in one system.
In brief
TravelPerk, now just Perk, is betting US finance teams want travel and spend in one system. Perk's US play is bundling: sell spend management to companies already booking travel through you, then add a card. Originally reported by Pymnts.
Perk Spend lands in the US

The travel and spend platform, headquartered in London and Boston, brought its Perk Spend product to American businesses on Tuesday, September 15.
A billion dollars in work trips

Perk's existing US customers already run more than $1 billion a year through work travel and team events. The spend product is aimed straight at that flow.
The tools stopped keeping up
CEO Avi Meir's pitch is that American travel budgets grew while the software to control them did not. Perk is selling one AI-native platform with agentic features instead.
“US companies are spending more on travel every year, but the tools to manage it aren't keeping up.”
Europe proved the bundle
After Perk Spend launched in Europe, up to 40% of new deals became combined travel and spend sales. The US already supplies 30% of new business globally.
Keep your card, add controls
Bring your own card lets finance teams keep an existing corporate card program while everything reconciles through Perk. A Perk charge card with cashback is coming next.
“Finance leaders don't want to choose between control and flexibility, they want both.”
Trips with a business case
PYMNTS argues 2026 travel matters for its intent, not its volume: supplier visits, customer acquisition, market expansion. With 57% of US SMBs sourcing overseas, cross-border payments follow.
“Organizations are traveling with greater intention, focusing on activities that create measurable business value.”
What to remember
Perk's US play is bundling: sell spend management to companies already booking travel through you, then add a card.
