Death Spray's Bentley Flying Spur
David Gwyther, known as Death Spray in the art world, created a temporary art car for Bentley.
“The thing about bentleys is that, the car disappears, but the only thing that remains is how everything feels, the knurling and texture.”
10-Day Painting Process
Gwyther spent 10 days hand-applying maskings and paint to the Flying Spur.
Glow-in-the-Dark Paint

The car uses blue, green, and purple glow-in-the-dark pigments that charge through solar rays.
Collaborative Event
Death Spray revealed the art car at a Cart Department event in Manhattan on October 13.
Temporary Nature
The art car is a temporary fixture that will be crushed after the event.
Gwyther's Perspective
Gwyther finds comfort in the car's temporary nature and collaborative potential.
“I do like the idea that it's going to be crushed and destroyed. But also like, if i'm approached to do something as a collaboration, it's a case of what can i get out of it that i wouldn't normally do on my own.”
