Hidden behind a London gate

Wotton Works sits on a gated driveway in northwest London. The nearly 13,000-square-foot building looks unassuming from the street.
Built for wartime aviation
The building was once part of Handley Page, a pioneering British aircraft manufacturer. It produced planes and parts, including the Halifax bomber, during World War II.
A century later, new purpose

Nearly 100 years after its construction, the former factory serves a completely different function. It's now a creative live-work complex.
Bought and transformed in 2018

Simeon Anderson purchased the building in 2018. He spent several years converting it into a sprawling space.
Five-bedroom penthouse on top

The transformation includes a five-bedroom penthouse residence. The live-work complex is now listed for $7.2 million.
The main idea
