Fender meets Voluspa on candles

The guitar maker and fragrance brand launched a limited-edition Three Chord collection on September 17, featuring three scents: Vanilla Voltage, Strawberry Rush, and Midnight Leather.
Three price points to choose from
Mini candles cost $24, full-size candles are $52, and a complete set of all three minis is $70, making it the most economical way to try the entire collection.
Guitar details in the design

Each candle features a guitar pick protruding from its side and six ridged edges symbolizing a guitar's strings, keeping the rock and roll aesthetic subtle rather than novelty.
Impressive burn times included

Mini candles burn for up to 25 hours while full-size candles last up to 55 hours, notably generous compared to typical candle brands that offer closer to 10 hours for minis.
Music and fragrance share power
Voluspa's founder said both music and fragrance transport you and shift mood, so partnering with Fender let them translate the anticipation and energy of a live performance into home fragrances.
“Both music and fragrance have an incredible ability to transport you, shift your mood, or completely change the atmosphere and feeling of a space.”
Both brands love bold collaborations
Fender, founded in 1946, has partnered with Timex and LEGO. Voluspa, founded in 1999, has worked with Wicked and Anthropologie, making this a natural pairing of California innovators.
Limited edition means act fast

Like Fender's Pac-Man Telecaster that sold out immediately, this collection may not last long. The brand kept the launch relatively quiet, but demand for special-edition Fender products is well established.
The takeaway
Fender and Voluspa's Three Chord candle collection translates the emotion of a live performance into three distinct fragrances, with guitar-pick details and generous burn times.
