Lambrini Girls announce No Refunds
Brighton's loudest punk duo set a January 2027 album date and dropped a single about a man treated as both saint and devil.
In brief
Brighton's loudest punk duo set a January 2027 album date and dropped a single about a man treated as both saint and devil. No Refunds lands Jan. 15, 2027 on City Slang, and the tracklist says the politics got sharper, not softer. Originally reported by Rolling Stone.
The album has a date
Phoebe Lunny and Selin Macieira will release their second album, No Refunds, on Jan. 15, 2027 through City Slang.
Bang Bang Bang arrives
The new single premiered alongside the announcement, and it burns as hot as anything the Brighton pair have put out.
A saint and a devil
Lunny says the song is about a man worshipped as a messiah figure and feared as something much darker at the same time.
“a man who has been revered as a Christ-like figure but also as the devil”
Filmed in a sweaty basement
Harv Frost directed the video, which puts Lunny and Macieira in a cramped basement playing to a room that looks ready to collapse.
The titles give it away
Follow-up to 2025's Who Let the Dogs Out?, the tracklist names its targets: "White Man's World," "Gaza Beach," "Is This AI?" and more.
On the road with Bikini Kill
They open select US dates for Bikini Kill this September and October, next on Sept. 25 at Brooklyn Steel, before a 2027 UK and EU tour.
