2027 Australian Open Headliners Announced

The Australian Open officially named Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Naomi Osaka, and Coco Gauff as the 2027 1 Point Slam headliners on October 8th, 2026.

Osaka won the Australian Open in 2019 and 2021, Sinner won consecutively in 2024 and 2025, and Alcaraz returns as defending champion.

1 Point Slam Competition Rules

The 1 Point Slam is a single-elimination contest where professionals, amateurs, and AO wildcards compete for one point each.

Amateur Qualification Process

Amateurs must play in local AO 1 Point Slam competitions run by 1,000 clubs across Australia to qualify for the contest.

2027 1 Point Slam Dates and Prize

The 2027 1 Point Slam occurs on Wednesday, January 13th at Rod Laver Stadium with a $1 million prize and a silver trophy.

In 2025, wildcard Omar Jasika won the inaugural 1 Point Slam with $60,000 prize by defeating Priscilla Hon.
