Riakporhe offers Fisher title shot

British heavyweight champion Richard Riakporhe has offered Johnny Fisher a chance to fight him for the title, but only if Fisher beats Michael Pirotton this Saturday at London's Copper Box Arena.

“It would be good. I like Fisher.”

Riakporhe's recent dominance

Riakporhe moved up to heavyweight last year and has made an immediate impact, most recently brutally stopping Jeamie TKV in five rounds to win the British heavyweight title.

Fisher praised as strong puncher

Riakporhe respects Fisher's abilities, describing him as a big puncher and strong fighter, and says he is a fan of both Fisher and the Bosh family.

“he's a big puncher himself as well and a strong guy, like an ox”

Riakporhe's world title ambitions

While willing to defend against Fisher, Riakporhe's ultimate goal is to compete for a world heavyweight title against current champions like Wardley, Dubois, Kabayel, or Hrgovic.

“I want one of those titles.”

Riakporhe confident in his power

Riakporhe believes he is one of the heaviest hitters in the world and is focused on getting the job done to propel himself toward a world title opportunity.

“I'm definitely arguably one of the heaviest hitters in the world. That's a fact.”

Fisher must beat Pirotton first

Fisher faces Belgium's Michael Pirotton on Saturday night at the Copper Box Arena in London, live on Sky Sports, in a heavyweight clash that will determine if he gets the title opportunity.

Riakporhe values fan entertainment

Riakporhe emphasizes that giving fans value for their money and entertaining them is key to staying in their good books, whether fighting Fisher or pursuing world titles.

“They deserve to be entertained.”
