Rossa Ryan set for San Siro ride

Rossa Ryan will partner Constitution Hill in the Gran Premio del Jockey Club at San Siro on Sunday, October 20, 2026.

Trainer Nicky Henderson initially planned for Oisin Murphy to ride Constitution Hill but switched to Ryan due to weather concerns.

Ryan on soft ground conditions

Ryan said San Siro will have soft ground with 52mm of rain, which benefits Constitution Hill.

“I literally got the phone call last night so I've never ridden him. He's popular for sure. San Siro is just like this (Yarmouth) - it's just the other way around - and I was reading between Wednesday and Thursday they are due 52mm of rain, so it will be proper soft ground.”
