Peel Dream Magazine Announce Expanded Taurus

Peel Dream Magazine announced an expanded edition of their mini-album Taurus, marking its first vinyl release.

New Track Blind Faith Released

The expanded Taurus includes a new electronic pop track called Blind Faith, described as a skittering electronic pop track.

Joe Stevens' Statement

Joe Stevens stated he recorded Blind Faith multiple times but couldn't achieve the desired sound, leading to a rework after a year.

“This is another track I was working on during the time I made Rose Main Reading Room . Like a lot of those songs, I recorded it a few times over, but I couldn't get a particular sound I was looking for, and the structure kept changing. I decided to put down the pen and didn't revisit the song until earlier this year.”

Inspirations for Blind Faith

Stevens cited Thom Yorke's The Eraser, The Books, and minimalist glitchy music from that era as influences for Blind Faith.

Blind Faith Theme

The song explores wandering through one's own mental maze to escape unproductive habits.

“The song is kind of about wandering the maze of your own head, trying to escape the habits that lead nowhere.”

Expanded Taurus Release Date

The expanded Taurus album releases on November 11, 2026, via Topshelf Records.
