Pinterest launches Restyle AI feature

Pinterest is rolling out Restyle, a new AI tool that lets users photograph their rooms and visualize design changes before buying. The feature launches in beta in the U.S. and Canada this week.
How Restyle actually works

Upload a photo of your room, then ask the AI to add furniture, art, change paint colors, adjust lighting, or swap items. You can also request completely different styles like bohemian or industrial.
Powered by Nvidia and Pinterest tech
Restyle runs on Pinterest Intelligence, which combines Nvidia Blackwell GPUs and Dynamo with open source models and Pinterest-built technology. This powers visual search and AI discovery across the platform.
Closing the inspiration to purchase gap
By seeing saved items in their own spaces, users are more likely to actually buy them. Restyle completes the journey from pinning inspiration to making a purchase.
Not entirely new, but strategically placed
Room restyling with AI already exists elsewhere, but Pinterest's advantage is integrating it directly with saved pins and products. This keeps users in the Pinterest ecosystem while shopping.
Rolling out next month more broadly
Restyle is currently available as an early preview but will expand to more users next month. The feature was announced at Pinterest's annual Presents event alongside new advertising tools.
