Five scrapers unite under Source

Oxylabs, Decodo, Webshare, ScrapingBee and Honeygain have formally merged under a single Vilnius-based holding company called Source. Each brand keeps its own team, products and customers.

AI agents drive fourfold demand surge

Source says demand across its companies has risen fourfold in a year as AI agents, next-generation search tools and frontier AI products pull live data from the web.

Processing 1.5 million requests per second

Source's systems now process one point five million requests per second and the company is expanding into web search APIs built specifically for AI agents.

Oxylabs serves enterprises and AI labs. Decodo targets mid-market. ScrapingBee sells developer APIs. Webshare serves professional consumers and solo builders. Honeygain pays ordinary people for spare bandwidth.

Previously reviewed as competitors

Three of TechRadar's nine best proxy picks now belong to Source: Decodo as best overall, Oxylabs as best for business and Webshare as best for privacy. They were previously sold as alternatives.

Leadership changes at Decodo

Source CEO Vytautas Savickas ran Decodo until March two thousand twenty-six, when he moved to lead the Oxylabs group. Founder Julius Cerniauskas became Decodo chairman.

Reddit lawsuit against Oxylabs pending

Reddit sued Oxylabs alongside Perplexity, SerpApi and AWMProxy in October two thousand twenty-five, alleging they evaded anti-scraping measures. Oxylabs said it was shocked and disappointed and would defend itself.

Gatekeeping fears if access is restricted

Source argues that if access is negotiated one licensing deal at a time, only the biggest companies will afford it. The unified group aims to negotiate from a position of strength.

Existing AI search APIs to expand

Oxylabs already offers a Web API pairing a search endpoint with a scraping endpoint for agents. The dedicated AI Search APIs promised by Source look like an expansion of existing work.
