Scratch-Built Lawnmower

Elliott Loe and his friends built a custom lawnmower that reportedly runs at 152.8 mph.
Engine and Chassis Details

The mower uses a 988cc inline-four engine from a 2004 Suzuki GSXR and a chromoly tube chassis from a 1990s MTD Tradesman.
Weight and Performance

Without the engine, the bare chassis weighs 45 pounds; with the engine, it totals 450 pounds and produces over 160 horsepower.
Speed Record Claim

The mower achieved a two-way average of 147.3 mph at ECTA’s Arkansas Mile and reportedly beat the Honda Mean Mower V2’s claimed top speed of 150.9 mph.
Verification Process

The run was confirmed by a time slip and is currently in certification to potentially set a new land speed record.
“The surface was extremely rough for a mower that had no suspension, and it would jump in the air two or three times per run”
