Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh urged Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to expedite key highway projects including the Shangshak-Tengnoupal Highway and proposed Imphal elevated road.
Request for NH-37 and NH-2 Completion
He also urged the Union Minister to ensure completion of ongoing works of National Highway-37 and National Highway-2 during this working season to improve connectivity and ease hardships.
Gadkari's Response
Gadkari informed the Chief Minister that the proposed elevated highway project in Imphal is under active consideration and assured all projects raised by the State Government will be addressed with help for Manipur's development.
