The SR Academy of Higher Education, which runs SR University in Warangal, has been granted deemed-to-be university status by the University Grants Commission.
Focus on deep-tech and life sciences
A.Varada Reddy, chairman of SR Educational Academy and Chancellor of SRAHE, said the institution plans to focus on emerging technologies, digital healthcare and interdisciplinary education with emphasis on research and innovation.
Academic focus areas announced
Proposed academic focus areas include semiconductor design, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, digital twins and advanced robotics. The institution aims to strengthen Hyderabad's deep-tech ecosystem.

Digital healthcare and life sciences plans
