Singareni officers get Dasara pay rise
Telangana approved revised pay scales for nearly one thousand eight hundred executive cadre officers at Singareni Collieries Company Limited, matching Coal India rates.
Deputy CM pushed for the decision
Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Bhatti Vikramarka directed Singareni management in July to expedite examination of the proposal and ensure officers received news before Dasara.
Pay increases across all seven grades
E-one cadre basic pay rose from forty thousand rupees to sixty thousand. E-two from fifty thousand to seventy thousand. E-three from sixty thousand to eighty thousand. E-four from seventy thousand to ninety thousand.
Higher grades also see increases
E-five officers now draw one lakh rupees against earlier eighty thousand. E-six and E-seven revised to one point two lakh from ninety thousand and one lakh respectively.
When the new pay takes effect
Revised basic pay scales take retrospective effect from January first, twenty seventeen. Financial benefits apply from September twenty-fifth, twenty twenty-six. Officers receive revised salaries from October pay cycle.
Officers welcome the decision
Singareni Officers' Association leaders thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. Officers said the move would boost morale and motivate contribution to coal production.
Part of broader Dasara benefits
The pay revision follows the state government's announcement of a five hundred ninety-six crore rupee Dasara bonus for nearly thirty-nine thousand Singareni workers and employees, plus five thousand five hundred rupees each for contract workers.
