Strawberry brings AI into the browser

Strawberry brings AI into the browser

Stockholm-based Strawberry released version one point zero of its AI browser today. Unlike chat-based AI assistants, it works inside the browser where people already do their jobs, with access to their tabs, tools and accounts.

Built for non-technical workers

The browser targets workers in sales, marketing, recruitment and customer service who do repetitive browser-based tasks but lack time or technical skills to automate them. Strawberry calls its AI assistants companions.

Sharing trained assistants across teams

Version one point zero lets teams share trained companions.A salesperson could train a companion to research clients, contact them and enter details into a sales database.Colleagues can then use it without starting from scratch.

New features and safety controls

Version one point zero adds video meeting capture from Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, turning conversations into notes and follow-up tasks. Companions pause for approval before sending emails, publishing posts or changing records.

Funding and the road ahead

Strawberry raised six million dollars in October twenty twenty-five in a round co-led by General Catalyst and EQT Ventures.

The essence

Strawberry released version 1.0 of its AI browser today, letting non-technical workers automate repetitive browser-based tasks and share trained AI assistants across teams.
