Domestic violence charges

Ramos-Rodriguez faces two open domestic violence cases in San Francisco Superior Court: one for inflicting corporal injury and criminal threats, and another for violating a protective order.

Sister's statement

Ramos-Rodriguez’s sister Claudia Melgar said he was detained from social media posts and has bruises and a concussion from the arrest.

“Hours after the rally, Fielder and La Raza Centro Legal announced on Instagram that all 11 supervisors and Mayor Daniel Lurie support legislation that will provide $1.8 million in emergency funding to immigration defense lawyers in the city.”

Next court date

Ramos-Rodriguez has a court date for both domestic violence cases on October 29, but ICE detention may delay his appearance.

“His next court date for both cases is Oct. 29; it is unclear how the ICE detention will affect his ability to appear in court.”

Ramos-Rodriguez grew up in the Mission, attended John Muir Elementary School and McAteer High, and works with Victory Outreach church in SoMa.
