Apple-Music-Hall-exterior

Apple Music Hall, a 600-capacity venue beneath Battersea Power Station, opens September 28th as the company's first dedicated live music space.

Intimate stage meets production value

The staging area is a pit-like space that can be reconfigured for traditional front-facing sets or more in-the-round experiences.

The 600-seat space features a 38-foot-wide reconfigurable stage, 48-speaker spatial sound system, and hardwiring for 16+ broadcast cameras to balance artist intimacy with professional production.

“designed intentionally to close the gap between intimacy and production value”

Full production facility behind stage

Two dedicated recording and mixing studios sit behind the stage, allowing Apple Music Hall to operate as a complete production facility for live performances and broadcasts.

Apple Music radio moves to Battersea

Here you can see some shots of the new Apple Music radio studio.

All London-based Apple Music radio hosts and shows will now broadcast from the new Battersea facility, consolidating the company's music operations in one location.

Apple returns to live music in London

Apple Music Hall marks the company's return to London's music scene after running the iTunes Music Festival for a decade before canceling it in 2017.

Battersea's music legacy continues

The decommissioned Art Deco power station, which reopened in 2022, is famous for appearing on Pink Floyd's Animals album cover, adding historic music credibility to the new venue.

The one thing

Apple is expanding beyond streaming into live music production with a dedicated venue designed for intimate performances that can be professionally recorded and globally livestreamed.
