Samsung has raised prices on nearly every Galaxy S26 model in the US by $100 or more on its official website, following the year's biggest smartphone trend.

Base model now costs nearly $1,000

The base Galaxy S26 with 256GB of storage now costs $999 after the price increase, according to Phone Arena. This is $200 more than the base S25 cost.

Two price hikes in one year

The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus were already $100 more expensive than their S25 predecessors when they launched earlier this year. Samsung said RAM price hikes were partly to blame.

Ultra model hit hardest

The 1TB version of the Galaxy S26 Ultra saw a $200 price hike, now costing $1,999. Most other S26 models increased by $100, with prices ranging from $999 to $1,599.

S26 FE escapes the hike

The Galaxy S26 FE is the only S26 phone without a price increase, still starting at $699. However, this price is higher than the S25 FE's launch price.

Industry-wide trend continues

Apple and Google have also raised prices on their phones this year, making Samsung's increases part of a broader smartphone industry shift toward higher costs.

Samsung raised Galaxy S26 prices by up to $200 on its official US website, with the base 256GB model now costing $999, following earlier $100 increases blamed partly on RAM price hikes.
