Specs Intelligence is an AI assistant that connects to your apps and predicts what help you need before you ask. It works across devices to manage work tasks, travel plans, and personal goals.

Available on iOS preview today

Specs Intelligence launches in iOS preview starting Wednesday, with a full early-access experience coming to Mac. You can join the waitlist for the Mac version now.

Connects Gmail, Slack, and more

The AI builds understanding from apps you connect, like Gmail and Slack, to track your goals, priorities, and routines. It deepens its knowledge over time as you use it.

“SPECS Intelligence builds an understanding of your goals, priorities, relationships, and routines from the apps and tools you choose to connect.”

Predicts what you need before asking

Predicts what you need before asking

Before meetings, it highlights decisions and reminders. For trips, it pulls together flights, hotels, and dinners while flagging work deadlines. On Specs AR glasses, it places content directly in your view.

“Before a meeting, it could highlight decisions to make, questions to ask, and things to remember.”

Privacy promises but trust concerns remain

Snap says it can't access your personal content and won't use it to train AI models or serve ads. But the company faces challenges convincing users to trust it with sensitive data from connected services.

“Personal content from connected accounts will not be used to train or fine-tune Snap's AI models, or to serve personalized ads.”

Uses mix of open and local models

Specs Intelligence runs on a combination of open-source models hosted in the US and local language models. Snap says it regularly updates the model mix as it improves the service.

The one thing

Specs Intelligence is Snap's answer to AI assistants like Google's Spark and Meta's Muse, designed to predict your needs across work and personal life by connecting to your existing apps.
