SoundCloud partners with ElevenLabs
SoundCloud is integrating ElevenLabs, another generative AI music platform, after earlier partnering with Moises. Users can now publish AI-generated tracks directly to SoundCloud.
Direct publishing and free trial access
Rather than exporting from ElevenLabs and uploading to SoundCloud separately, users can publish directly. SoundCloud Artist Pro subscribers get three months of ElevenMusic Pro free.
AI tracks will be clearly labeled
Songs published from ElevenLabs directly to SoundCloud will be labeled as such, making clear their AI origins. This distinguishes them from human-created music on the platform.
SoundCloud embraces AI more than rivals
SoundCloud has been more willing to embrace AI-generated music than other streaming services. It encourages users subject to EU rules to label tracks as AI-generated or manipulated but has avoided publicizing removals of AI spam.
