A KAVA short, and the rulebook behind it

A signals account posts a short on KAVA perpetuals, then spends most of the post on leverage caps, position sizing, and what happens when a trade fails.

In brief

A signals account posts a short on KAVA perpetuals, then spends most of the post on leverage caps, position sizing, and what happens when a trade fails. The trade idea is one line; the rest is risk control. Cap the position at a few percent, mark your exit before you enter, and accept that some setups will stop you…

Short call on KAVA

Short call on KAVA

The setup is a short on KAVA/USDT perpetual futures, posted on MEXC by the account Roddy01SIGNALSPROVIDER. Everything else in the post is the method behind it.

Read the colors first

The chart is color coded so you can act without reading a word. Yellow marks the entry, red marks the stop loss, and green or blue mark the take profit levels.

“Entry point: yellow Stop loss: red Take profit: green or blue”

Leverage has a ceiling

Crypto trades are sized at 5x, 10x, or 20x. Commodities, stocks, indices, and forex go higher, 20x to 100x, because those markets move in smaller increments.

Five percent, no more

Margin stays between 1 and 5 percent, and 5 percent is the cap on any single trade or across all open trades. The reasoning is blunt: nobody controls the market.

“Invest only what you can afford to lose, as no one is in control of the market.”

What the setups are built on

Signals come from breakouts across ascending, descending, and horizontal trend lines, plus patterns like head and shoulders, triangles, and Elliott impulses, confirmed by indicators.

“We associate at least two indicators with this technique.”

Losing trades are priced in

The post admits stop losses happen, the same as for any trader, and claims only that wins outnumber them. You can also close early or late if the move already satisfies you.

“However, we win more than we lose and remain positive.”

The essence

The trade idea is one line; the rest is risk control. Cap the position at a few percent, mark your exit before you enter, and accept that some setups will stop you out.
