Waiting on EURUSD to pick a side
A trader maps two clean EURUSD paths after last week's inflation print left the direction wide open.
In brief
A trader maps two clean EURUSD paths after last week's inflation print left the direction wide open. When the data gives no direction, don't force a trade. Define both scenarios, mark the levels, and let price choose. Originally reported by TradingView.
Inflation gave no answer

Last week's inflation numbers landed without setting a direction for EURUSD. So the trader sits out rather than guessing which way the pair breaks.
“Since inflation numbers last week have not given any clear direction yet it's still a waiting game for myself.”
Two scenarios, not one call
Instead of a single prediction, the setup is split into two branches. Each one hangs on whether the 4-hour bullish orderflow holds.
“I see 2 scenario's playing out”
Bulls hold the 4h flow
In the first branch, price respects the bullish orderflow currently in control on the 4-hour chart. That keeps buyers in the driver's seat.
“Price respects the current 4h bullish orderflow in control”
Break the high, run higher
Confirmation comes from clearing the fractal high and the monthly open level. Take both and price gets one more push toward the highs.
“breaks the fractal high + monthly open level and we trade price towards the highs one last time”
Or the flow breaks down
In the second branch, price breaks that 4-hour bullish orderflow. The break leaves a fresh supply zone overhead where sellers take over.
“which will create a new supply zone”
Target sits at 1.15005
If sellers win, the draw is the major daily liquidity pool at 1.15005. That level is the downside magnet worth watching.
“we trade price lower towards the major daily liquidity laying at 1.15005”
The headline
When the data gives no direction, don't force a trade. Define both scenarios, mark the levels, and let price choose.
