A very big recall

Ricky Joy pulled more than 2.3 million bottles of Sour Crush rolling liquid candy, the Consumer Product Safety Commission says.
The problem is the ball

The bottle dispenses candy through a rolling ball, like roll-on lip gloss. That ball can come loose from the packaging.
“The recalled product uses a rolling ball to dispense liquid candy, similar to roll-on lip gloss.”
A choking hazard
A detached ball is small enough for a child to choke on, which is the whole reason for the recall.
The candy is fine
Nothing is wrong with the liquid candy itself. The company still wants people to stop using the product because of the applicator.
Sold for over three years
The bottles went out through national retailers including H-E-B and Walmart.com from January 2023 through May 2026, at about $3 each or $13 to $32 per pack.
How to get your money back
No injuries have been reported so far. Ricky Joy is issuing refunds and sending a prepaid shipping label so you can mail the candy back.
The bottom line
If you have Sour Crush rolling liquid candy at home, stop using it and claim a refund from Ricky Joy.
