Simplified Settings Page
WhatsApp is working on a more simplified interface for the Settings page to make it easier for users to find what they need.
Secondary Options Moved
The update will move secondary options in a separate menu for users who only need quick access to the most important options.
New You Tab Features
The You tab will show account name, profile photo, phone number, and options like Subscriptions, Lists, Broadcast messages, Events, Starred, and Linked devices.
Separate Settings Menu
By tapping the gear button, users find Account, Privacy, Chats, Appearance, Notifications, Agents, Storage and data, and Parental controls in a separate menu.
Multi-Account Access
Users can add a second account by tapping the account name at the top of the screen without moving it to the secondary menu.
Why Simplify Settings
WhatsApp added many features to the Settings page over the past year, making it harder for users to find what they need quickly.
Future iOS Release
The simplified Settings page is under development for a future iOS update and not yet available for public testing.
