Elle Kennedy's Briar Universe expands

The Off Campus author has written 13 books across three series set in the Briar Universe, plus a Prime Video adaptation. Fans are now creating their own stories to fill the gaps.

Fan fiction fills the gaps

With countless romantic pairings already explored, readers are creating their own Briar-inspired stories featuring side characters and original ones. These fictions let fans explore what could have been.

Beau lives in secret romance

The Maxwell Maneuver on Wattpad reimagines Beau Maxwell alive and in a secret relationship with his best friend's younger sister, Jade. In the original series, Beau dies in the third book.

“Dean Di Laurentis has two major rules in life: win at all costs, and keep his Briar Hockey teammates far away from his little sister, Jade.”

Best friend's brother forbidden love

Not an Option follows Garrett Graham's younger sister Ellie and his best friend John Logan as their friendly banter turns romantic. Garrett's disapproval forces them to hide their growing feelings.

“How long can Ellie and Logan keep pretending nothing is changing, before Garrett notices that everything already has?”

Second chance after seven years

Did You Ever Think of Me? imagines Dean and Allie never reconciling after Season 1's bar fight. They reunite seven years later as maid of honor and best man at Hannah and Garrett's wedding.

“What if Allie and Dean never reunited after the bar fight at the end of Season 1?”

Fan fiction keeps fandom alive

These stories let readers explore alternative timelines and side characters while waiting for Off Campus Season 2 and Elle Kennedy's next book. Wattpad and Archive of Our Own host the fan creations.
