## Drives on top, not beside
Morefine's MNAS-X1 fixes a four-bay hard drive tray directly above the motherboard instead of tucking it alongside the processor.
## Warm air rises, drives stay cool
The layout leans on basic convection. Hot air climbs from the components below while cooler air settles, keeping the drives out of the worst heat.

> warm air naturally rises while cool air tends to settle lower
## A candybar box with latches
The 218 x 193 x 372mm aluminum shell works out to 15.6 litres. Each 3.5-inch bay has a spring latch, so drives slide out with no tools.
## Ports for a small office
One USB4 port, several USB-A, dual 10G RJ45 jacks, an SD card slot, and a single HDMI 2.0 output for 4K at 60Hz.
## 132TB and an NPU
A Ryzen 7 Pro 8845HS with Radeon 780M graphics, up to 96GB DDR5, three PCIe 4.0 SSD slots and four SATA bays reach a combined ceiling near 132TB. The NPU adds 16 TOPS.
## Room for a real graphics card
The three-slot PCIe 4.0 x16 opening takes cards up to 330mm long, fed by an 800W CRPS supply rated 80 PLUS Platinum.
## Fast, hot, and priceless
With an RTX 5070 it hit 16271 Cinebench multi-core and a 9966 PCMark 10 total. Under load the GPU drew 250W at 80C. Morefine has not named a price.

## Key takeaway

Moving the drive bay above the hot components is a cheap cooling trick, but a full-size GPU underneath may undo it.
