## An unwanted guest with a book
Marsala Gueye, 34, was eating with friends on Khao San Road when a drunk tourist tried to join their table and share a book about Adolf Hitler. They asked him to leave.
## He came back with a mug
Gueye says the man turned aggressive and used the N-word repeatedly. He later returned offering Gueye a mug that a friend pointed out carried a swastika.

> I did not personally recognise what was displayed on the mug at the time.
## Moving tables did not help
Gueye and his two Australian friends crossed the street to get away from him. He followed them anyway.
## Down on the pavement
Video from 8 a.m. on September 10 shows the man in a Hawaiian shirt arguing with a local who steps between them, then walking to the pavement and lying down.
## Salutes from the ground
From the pavement he shouted slogans praising Hitler and threw a Nazi salute over and over, looking straight at the group.

> Say it one more time
## The charge
Locals called police, worried it would turn into a brawl. Another clip shows the man charging at Gueye as Gueye yells at officers to get him away.

> Get him away from me or I will f, him up.
## Police pick the wrong man
Four officers surrounded the scene and one first treated Gueye's group as the aggressors. A friend in a white shirt had to point out who was actually causing the trouble.
## Trigger pulled
As the drunk tourist kept following them, an officer drew a taser and fired. The man dropped, police closed in, and the group was told to move away.
## No arrest, no case
Police say the German was never arrested and walked off once things calmed. Gueye filed a complaint that day, but officers say they saw no violence and are not investigating further.

> The patrol officers did not witness any punching or physical assault.
## Key takeaway

The taser ended the scene, but nobody was arrested and Thai police closed the case the same day for lack of witnessed violence.
