## AI in Golf
Artificial intelligence could help golfers make smarter decisions on the course but won't replicate a caddie's experience.

> It does have the ability to support golfers in the decisions that they're making
## Technology in Sport
Golf has adopted tech like clubs and data-led coaching but AI's role in course management is still emerging.
## Scout AI Feature
Blue Tees' Scout AI learns how individual golfers play to provide personalized recommendations for better course decisions.

> It analyses data related to a player's typical shot shape and dispersion, amongst other things, to help them to make more informed on-course decisions
## AI's Green Heat Map
Scout AI creates green heat maps to show where hazards are and gives advice on shot selection.

> It plays five yards uphill, it's a false front, you don't want to be short, make sure that you club up
## Caddie Experience
Caddies have decades of course knowledge and emotional understanding that AI cannot replicate.

> I don't think there's any replacement for caddies who have been at these courses forever, who know the ins and outs, nuances and little tricks
## AI's Limitations
Scout AI helps golfers play better without human caddies but can't replace a caddie's expertise.

> It's just been a very informative and helpful piece of the overall ecosystem that I quite like, that's helped me truthfully play a little bit more confident and lower my overall score
## Key takeaway

AI caddie tech like Blue Tees' Scout AI offers personalized course advice but can't replicate a caddie's decades of course knowledge and emotional understanding.
