## Shop what you're watching
Amazon launched Shop the Scene on Thursday. While a show plays, you pull up the Amazon Shopping app and see items pulled from the exact scene on screen.

> We are making it easier than ever for Prime Video customers to shop what they see on screen.
## 600 titles, and growing
Shop the Scene covers more than 600 Prime Video titles for US viewers. The older Shop the Show feature, for merch like LEGO sets and bobbleheads, jumped from 1,300 titles to over 8,000.
## The match is a guess
AI identifies the clothing an actor is wearing and offers the same outfit or something close. Amazon admits the match may not always be exact.

## A shop tab in X-Ray
X-Ray already names actors and songs mid-show. Now it gets a shop tab you open with the remote, browse on the TV, and check out on your phone.
## Everyone has tried this
Peacock shipped Must ShopTV in 2023. Disney+ tested shopping through on-screen QR codes. Netflix and others chased profit through price rises, password crackdowns, and ad tiers instead.
## 315 million eyeballs to convert
Amazon's ad-supported Prime Video tier now reaches over 315 million people, up from 200 million in 2024. Half of US adults call product placement effective, but only 4% ever acted on one.
## Key takeaway

Streaming's next revenue line isn't a price hike, it's turning every scene into a storefront.
