## Amazon launches Bee wearables
Amazon released two new devices: Bee Frontier wristband at $74.99 and Bee Eclipse phone attachment at $99.99.
## Bee devices listen continuously
Both devices record conversations automatically and turn them into summaries, to-dos, and ai insights.
## Bee's history with wearables
Amazon acquired Bee in mid-2025, taking over the original Bee Pioneer bracelet with $49.99 price and $19 monthly subscription.
## Privacy claims and limitations
Amazon says audio is processed and deleted rather than stored, but no legal binding promises were made before acquisition.
## Competitor landscape
Meta stopped selling its ambient recording pendant after December 2025 acquisition, leaving Plaud as main independent player.
## Subscription model
Bee Pro subscription costs $11.99 monthly for unlimited conversation summaries and amazon integration.
## Privacy concerns
A mute button protects the wearer but doesn't address consent from coworkers, friends, or strangers.
## Market adoption question
Whether people will wear the devices past the first week remains uncertain due to privacy concerns.
## Key takeaway

Amazon's Bee Frontier wristband and Bee Eclipse phone attachment record conversations automatically for $75, with monthly subscription for AI features.
