## Amazon updates entry-level Kindle
Amazon's next basic Kindle will get a bigger update than the 2024 model, which only added a brighter backlight, dark mode, and faster page turns.
## New color options arrive
The new entry-level Kindle will be available in light blue, green, and mauve options, in addition to black, according to leaked images shared by WinFuture.
## Power button moves to top
The power button relocates from the bottom to the top right edge, which could prevent users from accidentally putting the e-reader to sleep while reading.
## Screen design gets refined
The new Kindle features more rounded corners for the screen. WinFuture speculates that multiple versions could be available with different display features based on leaked images.
## Pricing and specs remain unclear
The leaks don't reveal the e-reader's storage, battery life, or pricing. The two thousand twenty-four basic Kindle debuted at one hundred nine dollars ninety-nine but Amazon raised it to one hundred forty-nine dollars ninety-nine last month.
