## China gets Apple Intelligence in December
Apple will launch Apple Intelligence in mainland China in December with iOS twenty seven point three, two years after the United States. The rebuilt Siri AI will not ship.
## What's included and what's not
The launch includes Genmoji, notification summaries, writing tools and object removal from photos. Missing are the rebuilt Siri, photo expansion, upgraded Genmoji and visual intelligence in the camera.
## Apple trained its own model with Alibaba
Apple trained its own AI model for China with Alibaba's help, becoming the first foreign company Beijing approved to offer a proprietary AI model in mainland China. Image generation will not ship.
## Europe still waiting with no timeline
Europe faces a different obstacle. Most of this year's features cleared in September, but Siri AI remains missing from iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches in the EU with no approval date in sight.
## Key takeaway

Apple Intelligence arrives in mainland China in December after a two-year delay, excluding the rebuilt Siri and this year's features, following approval from Beijing with Alibaba's help.
