## Engadget reviewed 15 devices in two weeks
September brought a relentless stream of new gadgets. Engadget reviewed fifteen devices over two weeks, from Apple to Sonos, Beats and DJI, with October showing no signs of slowing down.
## Apple released four major products after Labor Day
Apple released the iPhone 18 Pro, Apple Watch Series 12, AirPods 5 and two new Macs just after Labor Day. All have now reached stores. The iPhone 18 Pro's camera upgrades are the biggest spec sheet item.
## Apple Watch Series 12 adds health tracking and audio tools
The Apple Watch Series 12 includes more robust health tracking and some controversial audio tools, though the latter are not yet available. The AirPods 5 added active noise cancellation to both models.
## Sonos released new headphones and soundbar with Sonos 27
Sonos announced the Ace Ultra headphones and Beam Ultra soundbar alongside an overhauled audio platform called Sonos twenty seven. The Ace Ultra functions as a standalone member of a Sonos system, a feature that works well in early access.
## Beam Ultra soundbar delivers real Dolby Atmos sound
The Beam Ultra soundbar's big upgrade is up-firing drivers, which means it can produce real Dolby Atmos sound instead of just virtualizing the overhead noise, a significant improvement over the original.
## Other reviews covered VR, smart glasses, toasters and more
Engadget also reviewed the Valve Steam Frame VR headset, HTC Vive Eagle smart glasses, a Breville Eye Q toaster with vision, Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, Beats 360 headphones, DJI Osmo 360 II, Turtle Beach Rematch controller and Keychron Thunderbolt five dock.
## Key takeaway

Engadget published reviews of fifteen devices in two weeks, including Apple's iPhone 18 Pro and Watch Series 12, Sonos's new headphones and soundbar, and products from Beats, DJI and others.
