## Three devices coming soon
Apple is expected to announce a HomePod mini 2, iPad mini 8, and Apple TV 4K before the end of the year, following the iPhone 18 Pro and folding iPhone Duo.
## HomePod mini gets softer colors
The HomePod mini 2 keeps the original design from late 2020 but swaps bright orange, yellow, and blue for more subdued green, pink, blue, white, and black shades.
## iPad mini gets faster chip
The iPad mini 8 upgrades from the A17 Pro chip to the A20 Pro found in the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone Duo, replacing the seven-year-old seventh generation model.
## iPad mini camera moves to landscape
The iPad mini 8 relocates its front-facing camera to the landscape edge of the tablet, with a groove on the top edge suggesting an added speaker similar to the iPhone.
## iPad mini may get OLED and waterproofing
According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the iPad mini 8 could include improved waterproofing from a vibration-based speaker and an OLED display like the larger iPad Pro.
## Apple TV 4K gets modest upgrades
The Apple TV 4K, nearly four years old, will reportedly upgrade to the A17 Pro chip and Apple's N1 Bluetooth and Wi-Fi chip, keeping a similar design to its predecessor.
## Key takeaway

Apple is expected to announce a HomePod mini 2, iPad mini 8, and Apple TV 4K before the end of the year, according to details found in Apple's code.
